3 Crystals to Ease Anxiety

anxiety beginner crystals Apr 07, 2020

Anxiety levels are at an all-time high right now and I am getting DMed on the regular about crystals to help with easing anxiety so I thought I would share my personal favorites that I use when I need some calming. I do need to preface with the fact that crystal healing should never be used in place of a doctor/therapist or any prescribed medications -- everything I share is from my own personal experience and I am not an MD... shocking, I know. Speaking of personal experience, I do not have a diagnosed anxiety disorder but I have been diagnosed with postpartum anxiety and postpartum depression twice and I am no stranger to anxiety as it lives within the walls of my home.

Okay now that we got all that out of the way let's get to the good stuff: the crystals that I love for easing anxiety.

1. Blue Lace Agate - this is one of my most favorite crystals. It is a soothing and nurturing blue stone that brings you calmness and peace of mind. It can help calm your thoughts when they become chaotic. I use this stone in almost all of my crystal healing sessions.

2. Amethyst - the most popular of these three stones, it is an all-healing crystal. Amethyst is great for relieving stress, managing irritability, balancing mood swings and helping get rid of fear and anxiety. I recommend this crystal in all beginner crystal kits!

3. Lepidolite - this stone is great to help you through any transition or change. It contains lithium which is used in anti-anxiety and depression medication. Lepidolite can also stabilize mood swings and stop obsessive thoughts.

All three stones are recommended to use with the higher chakras (throat, third eye, and crown) which makes sense when you think about where anxiety most often lives - in our minds.

So how can you take advantage of the powerful energy of these crystals? You can meditate with them, wear them (as jewelry or in your bra), keep them near your bedside or even create a crystal grid. Sometimes I even just lie down with one on my throat or forehead. Don't know how to make a grid? Download my free e-book here!
